Culture

One of the most beautiful things in this world is the fact that there are many cultures like a colorful hue in the rainbow. Each determine our ethnic identités, and who we are by ethnic virtue.

Through this we learn to live with each other’s difference, as well as sharing each others ethnic beauty.

One thing to realize is that in islam culture has a different standing from that of ethnic stance. Islamic culture takes away all that is negative from the ethnic culture and only leaves that which is positive.

It is sad how ever that people base Islam from the ethnic culture of the majority instead of looking at it from a religions stand point. Islamic culture is perfect in every way.

For the cultural Muslims who grew up is Muslim families and follow what they saw in their environment. It’s better for them to look into Islam and distinguish what action or Belize is part of Islam and what is not. As there are some things which may be done as part of an ethnic culture but may not be be agreeable in the Islamic culture.

So it is very important for both non Muslims and Muslims alike to tell a difference between the two.

Inshallah may Allah guide us all to that which is truth.

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “I was sent to perfect good character.”

Sahih al-Bukhari 3559

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:

The Prophet (ﷺ) never used bad language neither a “Fahish nor a Mutafahish. He used to say “The best amongst you are those who have the best manners and character.” (See Hadith No. 56 (B) Vol. 8)
